Allergies & Skin Support with Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu provides simple, natural techniques to help the body respond to allergies and support healthy skin. These gentle hand placements can assist with food reactions, hayfever, itchy skin, and deeper skin conditions such as acne.
Use these techniques regularly or whenever symptoms arise. Gentle touch and slow breathing are all that’s needed.

1. Allergy & Skin Clearing Hold (2 + Opposite 24 or 15)
Purpose: Helps with allergic reactions (food and inhalants) and supports clear skin.
Steps: Place one hand on the low back on top of the pelvis (Point 2).
Place the other hand on the opposite outer foot (Point 24).
(If this is difficult to reach, place the other hand on the groin/lower abdomen – Point 15 instead.)
Breathe slowly and deeply.
Hold for several minutes to help reduce reactions and support skin clarity.

2. Food Reaction & Energy Support (Hi19 + Opposite Hi1)
Purpose: Helps with food reactions, hayfever, and boosts energy.
Steps: Place one hand on the upper arm (Hi19).
Place the other hand on the opposite upper inner thigh (Hi1).
Relax your shoulders and breathe slowly.
Hold for several minutes to support the body’s response.

3. Hayfever Relief (19s)
Purpose: Helps reduce hayfever symptoms and sinus irritation.
Steps: Place your hands on each elbow (Points 19).
Hold gently without pressure.
Breathe slowly and evenly.
Continue for several minutes to help ease symptoms.

4. Itchy Skin Relief (6 + Little Toe)
Purpose: Helps calm itching and skin irritation.
Steps: Place one hand on the sole of the foot (Point 6).
With the other hand, hold the little toe.
Relax and breathe slowly.
Hold for several minutes to reduce irritation and calm the skin.

5. Hot Skin Conditions (26 + Opposite 24)
Purpose: Helps reduce heat, redness, and inflamed skin conditions.
Steps: Place one hand on the outer shoulder blade at armpit level (Point 26).
Place the other hand on the opposite outer foot (Point 24).
Breathe slowly and allow the body to cool.
Hold for several minutes to help settle inflamed skin.

6. General Skin Support (26 + Opposite 2)
Purpose: Supports overall skin health and balance.
Steps: Place one hand on the outer shoulder blade at armpit level (Point 26).
Place the other hand on the opposite low back on top of the pelvis (Point 2).
Relax and breathe slowly.
Hold for several minutes to support skin function.

7. Deep Skin Support (Back of Calves)
Purpose: Helps with deeper skin conditions such as acne.
Steps: Place your hands on the back of your calves.
Position your fingers pointing upward toward the knees.
Hold gently and comfortably.
Breathe slowly and hold for several minutes to support deeper skin healing.

8. Deep Skin / Acne Support (2 + Opposite 24)
Purpose: Supports deeper skin conditions such as acne and chronic skin issues.
Steps: Place one hand on the low back on top of the pelvis (Point 2).
Place the other hand on the opposite outer foot (Point 24).
Relax and breathe slowly.
Hold for several minutes to support deeper skin balance.
Tip:
For skin and allergy support, consistency is key. These techniques can be used daily, especially during seasonal changes or when exposed to triggers. Gentle, regular practice helps the body rebalance and respond more effectively over time.
