Week 2 — Reassess & Target Only What Remains

Goal: Stop doing unnecessary corrections and concentrate on your individual pattern.

At the beginning of Week 2, repeat your main assessments.

Compare them with what you found during Week 1.

You may find that:

  • Some muscles are now moving normally
  • Your pelvis is staying balanced for longer
  • One or two areas continue to show up
  • Different areas now become more obvious

This is exactly why reassessment is important.

During Week 2:

1. Recheck Before You Correct

Don't automatically repeat everything you did during Week 1.
Test first.
If the pelvis is balanced, you don't need to correct it simply because you corrected it yesterday.
If a muscle is now moving well, leave it alone. Concentrate only on what still shows up.

2. Balance The Pelvis If Needed

If your pelvic assessment shows that the imbalance has returned, repeat the foundation pelvic-balancing technique.
Then recheck.
If the pelvis remains balanced, leave it alone and move on.

3. Correct The Remaining Reflex Patterns

For anything that remains restricted:
* Use the relevant reflex technique
* Recheck

4. Correct The Remaining Muscle Patterns

For anything that remains restricted:
* Recheck
* Use the appropriate muscle-balancing technique if needed
* Recheck again
You are beginning to narrow the Blueprint down to your personal pattern.

5. Explore The Back-Related Jin Shin Jyutsu Flows

Week 2 is also a good time to explore the Jin Shin Jyutsu section in more depth.
Use the holds and flows taught in the program that are traditionally associated within Jin Shin Jyutsu with areas such as general back wellbeing, tension and overall body balance.
You can also check the pulse quality as taught in the Blueprint.
If one side feels noticeably weaker, stronger or less balanced than the other, spend a little extra time with the relevant hold or flow.
The purpose here is not to diagnose an organ problem.
It is simply another way of observing patterns and using the traditional JSJ self-care system.
